Move Youkilis/Peavy.... Get Lincecum** I always reply **

I was asked today if I would Youkilis to another owner... I have McCab at first and Longoria at 3B... Youkilis is solid as he plays both and he bats Util for me, but given I do not hit injuries I snagged Berkman while injured for some of my own pitching and I have Hamilton who is bringing it own. Just nabbed Johnson off waivers too. Offense is my strength. Pitching looks good on paper, but it has been rough. Thoughts on this trade???? Fair.

He offered Theriot and an outfielder that skips my mind for Youkilis. I want to counter the following.

Garrett Jones or Lance Berkman too make a difference????

Youk, Peavy, Jones.... or Youk, Peavy, and Berkman shape up better???

I don't think that is even close to get Lincecum. If he goes for it I would greatly surprised. I think you would have to offer a better pitcher at this point in the season with Youk and don't ask for another player with Lincecum because I think you would be asking for too much.

Yeah, that trade definitely isn't enough for Lincecum. Hate to say it, but you'd probably have to offer Santana or Verlander with Youk to get Lincecum. What outfielder would you get with Theriot? Doesn't sound like too good of a trade..

AGreed, you'd have to offer Youk and Verlander, and then I don't think you do it because Verlander will likely turn it around again very soon...

you COULD try it though ... the Youk and Peavy for Lincy in a 2 for 1.
