I give a slight edge to Davis, I think he'll start to cut back on the walks and has a better team backing him. The only edge Scherzer has is that he gets to face the Royals and Indians several times.

That doesn't mean anything if you follow the Tigers. The Royals play the Tigers very tough. Two years ago they swept the Tigers the last series of the season and put them in last place.
I like Scherzer but he will have his bumps in the road because he throws too many pitches and doesn't go deep into games. Davis plays for a better team. In fact as of today the best team in baseball. Lots of offense . Davis is my choice.
