I'm assuming you would view Jay Bruce as one of your keepers after this season? He's off to a slow start but I think he'll eventually produce if Dusty Baker will keep trotting him out there every day (always a bit of a question with Baker as a manager). I'm thinking you do this deal, as Davis' upside is believed to be higher than Garcia's and we know that Bruce is capable of being a 30 homer guy in the outfield, while Lilly is just an above average pitcher. An above average SP is nice but he's probably not someone you would consider for keeper material.

I agree with everything said above. Jaime has been good so far this season, but Bruce is finally getting his confidence back and is really making fantastic contact over the last 2 weeks.
