Chris Young for Alicedes Escobar?(WHIR)

14 team league, 25 man rosters, dynasty league, 5x5 roto style, each team took over a Major league team and you have to keep at least 6 players from that major league team on your roster by the end of the year.

I was offered Jeff Franceour and Alex Gordon for my Alicedes Escobar and I am pretty sure I am going to turn that down. But, what do you think about a straight up deal of Escobar for Young? Or if you see any other counters that make sense let me know. Thanks and leave your links.

Why does he want Escobar when he has Drew, just for his speed or..?

Either way I would try to get CarGo if at all possible. I know in a league this big that big names like that take a bit go get, but if he really wants Escobar then I wouldn't sell him short. I think Alcides for Young is ok, but really don't believe Young's hot streak right now. I would try something like Escobar/Ludwick for CarGo. If you could get that it would a very nice deal for you, then you slide Everth to SS, Braun/Lee/CarGo in the OF, Manny (once he returns) at UTIL and rotate Hart/Hardy/Cameron at the 2nd UTIL slot.

Other then that I don't see a point in dealing Escobar. Really he carries more value to you on your squad then away from it, unless you upgrade at a bigger position by trading him. Chris Young COULD be an upgrade, but I don't really see him as that in the future.

Escobar is a free agent in my big time competetive 13 team roto league and Chris Young isn't all that either. IMO I think you're looking to trade garbage for garbage at this point.

Young isnt all that interesting even in a dynasty imo; Escobar has a much higher potential to be influential down the road. I love the idea of going for Cargo.
