I like Matusz a lot, so I'd keep him...

Jair Jurrjens-Would rather wait and see if he turns it around.
Shaun Marcum-Nice start to the year, but is yet to get off the goose egg with a W.
Derek Lowe-Yes has one more win that Brian, but a full run more in ERA and doesn't K as much.
Dice-K-Still don't know how he will come back, would wait at least a start or 2 before taking the gamble on him.
Wade Davis-Another nice young arm, but his control issues are proving to hurt his value.
Joel Pineiro-Has never been a K pitcher, and will struggle to make it back to double digit wins like last year, even in LA.
CJ Wilson-Out of any of the FAs this is the only arm I may think about swapping for right now. So lets compare...

Matusz- 2-0, 27:10 K:BB in 24.2IP, 4.38ERA, 1.30WHIP
Wilson- 2-1, 21:10 K:BB in 25.2IP, 1.75ERA, 1.21WHIP

In a non-keeper I really think that I would jump on Wilson. He has the much better squad around him, better division of the 2 to pitch in and I haven't heard of any innings cap on him like Matusz has. Neither is a bad choice and if it were my choice I would really try to get both of them, so who else do you have outside of Matusz that you could dump for CJ?

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

Tough one! I like Matusz but I also like Marcum & Wilson. Wilson has looked nice to start the season and Marcum has been unlucky with not getting the first W. I might lean slightly towards Marcum with Wilson being close behind.

Do you have anyone else you might consider to drop?

I would probably just stay with Matusz at this point. But if you really want to make a change then go for Wilson.

please help

CJ Wilson is the only other option... however, his move to the starting rotation is unproven and pitching in Texas over the years hasnt exactly been a good thing! Matusz does have to face better teams but he fared well against Boston & NY in his first matchups this year. The kid will be good and his K ratio is nice to boot.
