Leave your link, WHIR.

Yahoo 10 team mixed head-to-head league with standard 5x5 categories. $75 per team.

Available on the WW: Adrian Beltre, Casey Blake, Will Venable, Andruw Jones, Carlos Zambrano, Frank Francisco, Chris Perez.

Beckham is pretty terrible right now but I can't bring myself to drop him. I'm thinking dropping any combination of Stephen Drew, Byrd, Kendrick, or Lewis for Beltre, maybe Zambrano and maybe Francisco. The manager who dropped Zambrano told me he was thinking of picking him back up to stash. I really wanted to do that. Top 20 pitcher when he starts. What do you think?

C - Bengie Molina
1B - Adrian Gonzalez
2B - Howie Kendrick
3B - Gordon Beckham
SS - Hanley
IF - Stephen Drew
OF - Carlos Lee
OF - Dunn
OF - Ludwick
OF - Cuddyer
OF - Colby Rasmus
UTIL - Byrd
DL - B Roberts
DL - Manny

SP - Sabathia
SP - Verlander
SP - Beckett
SP - Billingsley
RP - Lindstrom
RP - Rauch
P - John Danks
BN - Shaun Marcum
BN - Phil Hughes
BN - Colby Lewis
BN - Wade Davis
DL - Kerry Wood

The only person I really like on that list of WW players is Beltre. He has looked good in his new home. I dont trust Big Z and dont think you really need him. But, who to drop? If anyone I would drop Byrd who has the least potential of all the guys you mentioned. Play Beltre at third until Beckham heats up and you will be fine.

I agree if you have to make a move. However, is there not any other 3B that are scrubs but hot right now on your WW? I follow the Sox and Beltre is not that good. His Avg and OBP look OK right now, but he has 0 HR and not really catching on so far here in Red Sox Nation. If he is the best availalbe the drop Byrd and pick him up in the short term. But do not drop Beckham unless you are in my league. :-b

Thanks. I'll probably stay put but I'm starting to get antsy from all the slow starts and injuries. Other 3Bs on the WW include Callapso, Jhonny Peralta, Gordon, Teahen, Scott Rolen, and David Freese. I'm unimpressed. I hope Beckham picks it up soon...

I'd stick tight for the time being. I know it's tough when guys are not producing like you expected, but there's no one available in your league that I think would make any drastic improvements. Keep an eye on Rolen though... he could heat up if he can stay healthy.

Thanks for the help on my post!!
