Should I waste my WW #3 on picking up Brandon Webb and dropping Martin Prado? Not sure I really need to waste BN spot given my SP (street in DL) but do I want to give up the chance to have him and probably see him on another team? Thanks for the help...he is coming off waivers in the AM.

I would say no because I was thinking the same thing and still have not heard anything good about webb. Prado is showing he is going to be a fine player, I am still not sold on Wells so I would push him because his value will not be any higher and try for a starter back. OK. I know this. Would you pick him up knowing that he could be there on my roster for the end of season and playoffs?

I would not pick up Webb and spend your #3 spot for the WW on him. I just don't really see Webb coming back from almost a year and a half and being dominate again and worth it for him to start on your squad. Although I will confess I have looked at him as well.
Thanks for the help on my question.

I wouldn't unless it's a keeper legaue. I have been following him as I have him on my roster, but I'm keeping him because I can keep him for 3 years at $4. There just continues to be no news which isn't good. He doesn't seem to get any closer to throwing. June would be the very earliest but there really isn't a timetable. Prado is a pretty good player as well.

Good point on the keeper league. It is however, you can only keep 10 and I typically only keep 3 pitchers given my hitter more preference. Felix, Beckett and Santana are my 3 pitchers I keep...Beckett is killing me right now of course. But this is typical of him...he had the same numbers last year through 5.

Don't do it. Or at least until he clears waivers. I'm willing to be he hangs around on the WW.
Please help with mine:

Left you a post. That is what I was thinking...however, we have a bunch of WWW (Waiver Wire Whor.s) in our league. I will probably just cross my fingers here, based on the responses.

If your league is really that competitive then a #3 waiver spot is pretty valuable and I wouldn't waste it on a guy who may not return until after the ASB, and even then, might be ineffective. Thanks for the help.
