Good Trade? - Jimenez/Lidge/Figgins for Fielder/Lester

Postby jacktowner » Wed Apr 28, 2010 11:56 am

Jimenez is exploding right now and Lidge is hyped up with 5 runless outings and about to be called up on Friday. The guy I'm wanting to trade with needs steals bad and I have a ton to spare (44 so far on the season), which is why Figgins is in the deal - he's off to a rocky start in the box, but he should improve a lot over the coarse of the season. I in turn need a solid hitter, ie Fielder. This guy also loves closers, so I'm hoping Lidge will entice him to pull the trigger. Tell me what you think about the deal:

Yea - ;-D
or
Nay - :-t

No matter who's on your time, anytime you can get your hands on a top 10 player like Prince Fielder you win the deal

I would do this. Jimenez looks like a stud but you get a potential top 10 player and ace in the other side of the deal.
