0-3, ship is sinking. WHIR

This is a 14 team points, keeper league (up to 5) on ESPN. My top 4 draft picks last year all fell apart, so my keeper choices where brutal. I kept Kinsler and Sizemore, reluctantly.

Bench - Alexei Ramirez
Bench - Scott Podsednik
DL - Ian Kinsler

SP - Justin Verlander
SP - Edwin Jackson
SP - Francisco Liriano
RP - Brian Wilson
RP - Billy Wagner
Bench - James Shields
Bench - Javier Vazquez

As you can see, it's ugly. I have been playing the waiver wire like crazy, picked up Vazquez, Wagner, Podsednik, Borbon, Wigginton, and Hudson. I knew going in, with no true 1st or 2nd round guys on my team, that I was going to have to be active, but nothing is working, so I thought I would see if a fresh set of eyes could help. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this team better?

I think your team is balanced well, just underachieving. Im not sure how long Wigginton can keep it up, and i have injury concerns with Miggy, but i do believe that Grady, Figgins, and Ramirez have to pick up the pace at some point. They are too good of players to slump all year. I believe once they heat up you will start to like your team much more. I might suggest seeing if you can trade for a another SP because after Verlander, Jackson and Liriano still have some questions imo. Overall, i think you should just let things play out for now. You can grab the current "flavor of the week" off the WW but i wouldnt do anything too drastic.

Thanks! Wigginton was just a waiver grab to help fill the Kinsler/Figgins/Ramirez hole in the middle, I have no intention to keep him on long term.

With that scoring system you need to be loading up on HR hitters. I'd see if you can't deal some speed for power.
