how does Carlos Santana compare to Weiter in a long term dynasty league? I could use the pitching help and am considering trading Weiters now as I have Santana comming up in a couple months. Weiters value is still pretty high so would i be better off trading the hype and getting a simlilar return in Santana?

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
I would stay with Wieters- why waiting for Santana? Wasn't Wieters one of THE most hyped (C-)Prospects (w B.Posey...)? It's his second (!) season in the bigs, so stay with him and don't jump on the bandwagon of other hyped players. You don't have any clues how Santana will be a good C - see JR Towles, he was hyped too and didn't get the chance to evaluate.
It would be nice to know what you did with our advice - so please write a short reply

Wieters is a great asset and will be fantasy gold this year IMO. He has a ton of upside and his game is going to come around stronger as the season progresses. I'd hold onto him personally.

Unless you are getting a huge haul for him, hang onto Weiters. Santana has a lot of hype, but as Kafka pointed out so did guys like JR Towles who has been a bust. It's hard to find gold at the Catcher position so hold onto Weiters unless you are being blown away.

Just to give some comparative value, I just acquired Carlos Santana in a dynasty league for Randy Wolf.
