Agreed. Great news for the league as maybe they are on the brink of being nationally relevant again.

Weird move. Why trade a guy that was so great for you in the playoffs? I guess they see Price as the goalie of the future, but it's a strange move to me.

perfect sell high if you ask me. play him on a line with toews and kane, make him look much better than he is and then move him. pretty smart.

I think Halak was a classic sell high, although, even though I don't think that Halak can replicate his performance for an entire season, he could perform like this in the playoffs again.

Byfuglien though has the tools to be a dominant power forward and the Hawks did get good value in return for him.
