it is a 10-team yahoo h2h DYNASTY league, 5x5 standard cats. my team is very solid but my pitching has been horrible. hate to deal kemp but i have a couple people that are very interested. i can withstand losing kemp in my OF, but is it worth it? here is the deal:
I GIVE:
Kemp
Alexei
De La Rosa or Marcum
I GET:
Josh Johnson
Justin Verlander
Ben Zobrist
Carlos Quentin
I love josh, and i like verlander. im was big on zobrist, but his slow start has me worried about last yr's power being a fluke. and im not big on quentin at all, but can sit on him or deal him for something else. he originally wanted me to give peavy, but we have gotten to this deal without him. i know trading kemp right now is hard, but is this a no brainer because he's overpaying and fixes my pitching? here's my roster:
C McCann
1b Teixeira
2b Phillips
3b A-rod
SS Tulo
OF Kemp
OF Holliday
OF Bruce
UTIL Reynolds
UTIL Jose Guillen
BN smoak
BN eric young
BN Martin prado
BN desmond jennings
BN Alexei
BN Abreu
SP CC Sabathia
SP Clayton Kershaw
RP Rivera
RP Broxton
P Jenks
P F. Cordero
P Chamberlain
BN Peavy
BN Billingsley
BN Marcum
BN De La Rosa
BN CJ Wilson
BN Phil Hughes
BN Jeremy Hellickson
DL Joe Nathan
as always leave a link and i will help you out.

Thats actually a really good return escpecially with Quentin bound to raise his batting average. This is hard to pass up. Thanks with mine.

Your offense is good enough to where Kemp is expendable.I would definetely do that deal and boost your pitching.

You're getting too much value to pass it up. I would do it.
League Setup:
13 Team Points League
6 Hitters 3 Pitchers (Positions don't matter)
1B = 1, 2B = 2, 3B = 3, HR = 4, RBI = 1
Win = 12, Save = 5

Tough to give up Kemp but you would be more balanced so I'd probably do it. Good luck.

If you're REALLY ready to trade Kemp then this IS a decent offer.

it's a fair deal for Kemp. Your pitching will definitely be a lot stronger and I am big on Quentin for this year. Even if you aren't you should be able to get some value for him if you want to.

Honestly, I don't love it, but I'm the sort of guy who doesn't like to pay for pitching. If you don't have that hangup, it looks like fair value. Like you said, your OF will be fine.

She said "there's gonna be a time when I'm gonna have to go with whoever's gonna get me the highest."

Yeah I'm basically with the others. I'm not big on Quentin. I think he may have been a one year wonder. Zobrist the same way. he now has the money so why worry about losing his job. Johnson and Verlander are two studs. Johnson was huge last night and Verlander is off to another slow start like last year. Just for the heck of it see if he will up the anty a little. Sell him on the fact he is getting one of the best players ( Kemp ) in the game and Verlander is struggeling. If he won't move accept the deal.
