he had a fine week last week and is off to a slow start this week granted, the 3/11 batting eye isn't good, but he's certainly not dumpable after just one-and-a-half weeks
He's very dumpable after 1.5 weeks in re-draft leagues. I grabbed him on a whim as it was. In my case, with Cruz coming back, Stanton does not provide value above my other outfielders, Pence, Rasmus, BJ Upton, Span, and Coghlan. Thus, dumpable.
BJ Upton isn't very good.

When you picked him up, what were your expectations for his first 27 Major League at bats? What would he have to had done in order for you to not dump him?
AVG/HR/R/RBI/SB .259/0/4/4/2 <-- Stanton through 27 AB '10 .143/0/4/1/1 <-- Span through 28 AB in '10 .250/0/3/2/2 <-- Upton through 28 AB in '10 .185/0/2/1/2 <-- Coghlan through 27 AB in '10 .103/1/2/2/0 <-- Pence through 29 AB in '10 .179/2/6/3/1 <-- Rasmus through 28 AB in '10
I'm not sure why you picked him up to begin with, then?

Hoping for some power. Where are the home runs? Yeah, I should be more patient, but the strikeouts are bound to start getting racked up and I just don't need the headache.
So, who would you dump (Cruz coming off the DL on Tue) then?
Make that three straight games of 0-4. 2 strikeouts in the Thur game vs. TEX.
Where's the hope? I was certainly expecting a little something more than what fantasy owners have gotten so far after he tore up the minor leagues. As I said, I have better OF options in my other guys right now, yes, including BJ Upton. I can't keep Stanton around as things are now. He looks lost out there at the plate.
Of course it would happen tonight the night I benched him right before the start of the game. Oh well now he will be in my lineup from here on out. Good to see though.

Are you changing your opinion on him every ab? You were ready to drop him yesterday...
I did drop him. I need to stream a few SP on the weekend and have N.Cruz back on Tue. I'm okay with my decision. It was exciting though to see him hit his first HR. He sure did it in style.
