Jorge De La Rosa, SP COL
News: Colorado SP Jorge De La Rosa was sent for an MRI on Monday and is being treated with a bone bruise on his middle finger of his pitching hand, reports the Denver Post. He has not been ruled out for his next start on Saturday at San Francisco. Should he be forced to miss the start, however, one possibility for a call-up to replace him would be Jhoulys Chacin.
Analysis: De La Rosa ended last season dominant and that is how he began 2010. He is now 3-1 on the year with a 3.91 ERA and 26 strikeouts. It is never a good sign to need to undergo an MRI but there is still a good chance that it comes back clean and he makes his start on Saturday. He is a solid -- albeit risky due to injury -- start for Fantasy Week 4 (April 29-May 2), assuming he makes it, as he went 3-0 with a 3.38 ERA in three starts against San Fran in 2008.
