better one to let go

Postby bloul11 » Mon Apr 26, 2010 9:20 pm

NL only:5x5 roto
I am struggling in HR and RBI but killing it in SB and Runs.
I was offered Troy Glaus for Coghlan or Dexter Fowler, i also have Carlos Gomez i could counter with. Which is better option to let go? Or do you do it at all?

Ugh. Not a fan of Glaus.

Agree, I don't know what Bobby Cox sees in Troy Glaus. If you're looking for a cheap source of HR and RBI would definitely see if Ike Davis is available. Also keep an eye out for Mike Stanton being called up, could make an impact like Miguel Cabrera did during his rookie year for Florida.

Glaus should be a cheap power source once he gets going, if you can handle his subpar avg. I'd be fine countering with Gomez but I think Fowler or Coghlan is too steep.

Thanks for the help on mine. I have to agree with everyone here, I don't like Glaus at all. I'd look elsewhere. If you are willing to deal Fowler or Coghlan (which I would opt to deal Fowler), you should be able to get a better bat then Glaus back.

I don't like that at ALL then again I also don't value Cohglan and Fowler much either.

Your opinion please http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=409562&p=3256486
