PLEASE RATE WHIR! Need some Help

Postby Papelbon Fire » Mon Apr 26, 2010 5:47 pm

So I'm in an 8-team Non-keeper league (5x5 H2H). Please keep in mind that because this is an 8-team league the teams are very stacked. I feel like I'm not getting the run production I need. Please recommend some moves or if I should just hold tight and be patient. Thanks! WHIR!

C - V Mart
1B - Fielder
2B - Phillips, Prado
3B - Longoria, A Ram
SS - Andrus
UTIL - Cuddyer
OF - Cruz, Holliday, Choo, Hunter, Lee, Rasmus, Rios
SP - Verlander, Lester, Lackey, Hamels, Cain, Scherzer, Wan Rod, Correia
RP - Wilson, Franklin
"A-Rod booed for confusing Yankees fans."

Do you actually have to start two players at 2b, or is that just who you have there? Knowing how many starting spots you have in a league that small will make a big difference. You might not even want to hold onto backups for positions like second and SS that tend to be low production positions, since there will be plenty on the FA list. Also, if you do only start one player per IF position, there is no sense in having both Aram and Longoria. When you include Cuddyer, your OF depth is ridiculous and you could easily try to move one of your 3b for a better SS, possibly even packaged with some pitching depth headed your way. (another closer would help tons).

Hope that helps some for now. Any thoughts on mine?
