0-3?!? wtf... WHIR!!

Postby 802GREENS » Mon Apr 26, 2010 9:48 am

Ok, so i am in a 12 team H2H 5-keeper points league, and i have started out 0-3 :-/

I feel like i drafted the Red Sox. Good core of players, but they aint doing sh!t... What do u suggest i try and do to bring my team out of the cellar? I am middle of the pack in just about everything.

So my question is, who do you feel like i should target in a trade, and who i should shop around for said player.
Heres my roster and leave a link. Thanks!!

Jorge Posada, NYY C
Justin Morneau, Min 1B
Brandon Phillips, Cin 2B
Gordon Beckham, CWS 3B,2B
Rafael Furcal, LAD SS
2B/SS:Alcides Escobar, Mil SS
1B/3B:Russell Branyan, Cle 1B
Bobby Abreu, LAA OF
Nelson Cruz, Tex OF
Austin Jackson, Det OF
Scott Podsednik, KC OF
UTIL:Russell Martin, LAD C
UTIL:Casey Blake, LAD 3B
Bench:Nate McLouth, Atl OF
Bench:Julio Borbon, Tex OF, DH
Bench:Ryan Zimmerman, Was 3B DTD
Bench:Ike Davis, NYM 1B

Tim Lincecum, SF SP
Josh Johnson, Fla SP
Jair Jurrjens, Atl SP
Matt Garza, TB SP
Tim Hudson, Atl SP
Brian Matusz, Bal SP
<need starter here>
Ryan Madson, Phi RP
Neftali Feliz, Tex RP
DL:J.A. Happ, Phi SP, RP DL15

PS
The WW is pretty thin, i cant see anyone (other than maybe a SP?) worth dropping someone for. and i have been fishing Martin around, but no bitters...

Thanks for the help with mine. Your team looks pretty solid, but if I had to suggest a move I would try to deal for a RP because your saves look somewhat weak.

Your team looks good but I wouldn't say you are underachieving. Some players aren't living up to expectations but you have some that are exceeding expectations. You seem light on power and most points leagues I have seen are all about HR for hitters and K's for pitchers. If that is the case I'm not surprised you are 0-3.

Man, when I look at your roster it seems fine. I think the above comment about the RP is correct, but I don't know if that is a big deal, saves can be found usually. You might be able to trade some of your 3B depth for a better OFer.
