I got some extra OF, and a team in need of OF help is offering up either Hughes OR Lirano for either McCutchen OR Heyward
What would you rather do? Get Hughes OR Liriano and for whom? Or be better just to hold off?
CUrrently my 4 man rotation is: Grienke, Hanson, Porcello, Anderson, on the bench i have Matusz, Carmona and some other scrubs......so i could use a little help with Porcello's recent struggles. My OF is Braun, Upton, Heyward, McCuthen with Rasmus on the bench. 14 team league, H2H
If it's a keeper I would hold onto Heyward and I don't think you should trade McCutchen either. Maybe try to trade C.Rasmus for Liriano or Hughes but atm Liriano will be a little high priced.

Its not a keeper league....one year league, H2H.,..no negatives for k's for a hitter (odd i know).
He would never do Rasmus for Hughes......he is a knowledgeable owner, so he knows Hughes value. i think im better off going Heyward for Hughes due to needing week to week consistency and I get that from McCcuthen, so id rather hold onto him.
Liriano is higher priced, i would deal McCucthen for him, but id rather see about getting hughes first. On the yankees and pitching with what seems no nerves, i see hughes winning 15 games this season with 175k's. high 3 era

If it's a non-keeper I would try to trade Heyward for Hughes. Hope the other owner is willing to trade. I wouldn't deal McCutchen for Liriano- why? bc remember the 5.80 ERA last season. He is more a 4.2 than a 1.29 ERA-Pitcher. Liriano shines bright today but his shade is long and dark.

Well before you posted this i offered Heyward for Hughes..i was replied back with: "While I love Heyward for the future I just don’t know how much the kid is going to do being a rookie and all Plus his spot in the batting order is not promising"
I want to offer McCuthchen for Liriano, but then again i kinda dont. Im optimistic that Liriano could be Top 15 overall SP, but one injury during the season could derail that.....or am I safe to say the injuries are behind us? Last seasons Liriano ERA you cant use IMO because he was just coming back from TJ surgey and no one has their control after that, not even carpenter. I mean this could be the pre TJ surgey Liriano we are looking at right now......but do i deal the Carl Crawford clone for him? Id rather deal Heyward, i just dont think its gonna happen.
Lirianos TJ surgery was 2007...that was 3 years ago...he missed the last season month with a swollen forearm (finally placed on DL) and came back in Sept with 1 Start... and yes he could be the old one if he gets the fastball more in the right direction. Though it's a ton of risk especially if you want to trade McCutchen for him.
And who is the Crawford-Clone?

i think mccutchen next year will be carl crawford esque....he is way above his predicted pace for SB's, and he can demonstrate the same power of crawford, i dont see them being entirely different.
i think the injury/risk factor with Liriano is too big to put McCutchen on. I will keep on the heyward/ hughes offer...he also has jonathan sanchez..i think ill offer rasmus up for him.

I don't think he will trade J.Sanchez (SF guy?) for Rasmus. He is way to valuable. I would hold onto McCutchen- I like him and he proofed that he is legit.
Try to find another owner for a trade with Heyward.
