How did I Make Out?

Postby Roberto Clemente » Mon Apr 26, 2010 12:43 am

I play in a Roto Yahoo Keeper League.

I got the 4 players below-

J.Mauer
J.Votto
I.Kinsler
M.Rivera

I gave up the 4 players below-

C.Utley
J.Morneau
C.Carpenter
F.Cordero

My thinking was to get better and younger. I am giving up some nice pieces. Morneau is on fire. Trade should go thru tomorrow.

You are defintely getting the better of the trade because you are getting Mauer who is the best player in the trade. But since your pitching doesn't appear to be all that deep, I do'nt know if you would benefit all that much.

Utley>Mauer. You made out pretty well though. You got some great youth. My main concern is that you got a bit weaker at SP, although Carp is an injury waiting to happen.

Yeah...I got younger. I.Kinsler will be returning soon. His age and talent could equal Keeper status for next season.

It hurt giving up C.Carpenter. He is injury prone. But I still have King Felix and De La Rosa. Plus...M.Pelfrey has been pitching really well and I picked up B.Zito last night who is ranked 5th among all pitchers in my League. My bullpen is pretty stout as well.

M.Rivera is better than F.Cordero, so I gained from that aspect as well.

J.Mauer is the best at his position. Outside of B.McCann and M.Olivo there are no other viable htiting Catchers. The sky is the limit for J.Votto and Kinsler.
