Straight up, somebody in my league wants to give up Howard for Braun. Should I pull the trigger on this? Help please!

Unless you're a diehard Philly fan, why would you want to trade Ryan Braun? No way.

Keep R.Braun.
Right now, Braun is a top 5 player. While R.Howard is a great power hitter, who has his Batting Average up this year...he is not at Braun's level.

I'd take Braun any day of the week.

Everyone is saying Braun but Howards numbers for HRS, RBIs are higher with Runs being quite similar. Hits and avg are better for Braun. But Howard hits in a stacked lineup. My league doesn't reward batting average. I think I'm going to take Howardand hope I do not regret it.

If you do that (trade for R. Howard), you'll regret it...

Fine! I will keep Braun since everybody seems to be against the trade. Appreciate the feedback thanks.

I am assuming that you drafted Braun. I am also assuming that Howard was drafted after Braun, as he was in my league and almost every draft I've seen. That begs the question: If you think Howard is better than Braun, why didn't you draft Howard instead?

I do think that Braun is a better player, I just don't know how much better. If Howard has the likes of Utley, Werth, Ibanez etc hitting around him in the batting order, shouldn't he technically be able to put up higher numbers than Braun, even if his batting average is lower and he strikes out alot?
