I think it is a good deal for you but will only be accepted if the other guy is down on the slow start of Lester. Do you have a better pitcher you can offer than Pavano because I would much rather have Lester and Garza.
please help and read my last post in my thread before answering...thanks

Sabathia's career K/9 is only slightly higher than Garza's (7.58 vs 7.23). His ERA is .3 lower (3.6 vs 3.9). They are very close pitchers, though obviously CC has done it for a longer time period. So then you're kinda talking Lester for Pavano.
Heck yeah, I try to pull off that trade if I can. But if I'm the other guy, I'm not taking Pavano as part of that deal. Yeah, Lester's off to a bad start, but he'll finish with an ERA at least .5 below Pavano and a lot more K. I don't trust Pavano. Not one bit.

i've been high on Garza for two years now, this is the year he breaks out big. i'm hoping this guy has a thing for CC and will make the deal.

I honestly don't really see why he would make the deal. But, yeah, if he's a CC fan, that can influence things. There's dudes in my league that will trade the farm for a Brave (we live in Atlanta). People doing crazy things like drafting Heyward in the 6th round. Yeah, he's turned out to be really good (too many Ks), but who drafts him that high?
Anyway, yeah, if he'll take the deal, I'd make it happen. Like I said, CC for Garza could likely turn out to be an even swap; shipping Pavano for Lester would be a steal.

I threw in Wandy and asked for Pinero. Wandy had a solid game the other day, so hopefully that will help.
