Postby Bartolo's Colon » Sun Apr 25, 2010 6:29 pm

10 team 5x5 Roto. Util/CI- I have one spot and I either have to activate Ike Davis and drop Nick Johnson or drop Davis and keep Johnson active.

Got to do this by tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would rather take my chances with Ike Davis who is hot. Johnson is solid but kinda boring. Go with Davis.

im going to have to go ahead and disagree with everyone else and say Nick Johnson. the AVG right now is bad at .135 AVG but he has .375 OBP. the AVG will improve.
Davis is young and has potential, but still his first time in the majors and i wouldnt be surprised to see some struggles.
once Johnson does get going hes going to help in R batting infront of Teixeira/ARod/Cano/ect. as LH in Yankee Stadium i think hes going to have 20+ HR.
there is always the injury risk for Johnson too.
Davis might have a higher ceiling in the future, but im just not sure i see that for this season.
i think either one are good. Davis has more potential. ohnson might be safer, but could be a risk to stay healthy.
hope i could have helped some.

I finally had to drop johnson, but i didnt want to. Hitting in the 2 hole in the yankees lineup should be gold. Especially for a lefty in that ball park. If he starts hitting around .300 like he has his whole career when healthy, his number should be really strong. But if he gets moved out of the 2 hole, then that is a different story. I would go with johnson though because over his career he has been a good hitter.

Please help.
