Michael Bourn and Aroldis Chapman for Jacoby Ellsbury?
I figured it may be a good time to buy on Ellsbury since he's hurt and Bourn is doing well. Chapman pitched a great game in the minors today ( 8 strikeouts in 5.1 innings and allowed only three hits and no earned runs)
I need to clear roster room anyway. What do you guys thinks? Will Ellsbury leadoff for the Sox all year or hit 9th?

Is this a keeper? If it's not then I would still hesitate to do this deal. Ellsbury and Bourn will end up with very similar stats especially if Ellsbury misses more time. It has recently come out that he has fractured ribs and could be out longer than expected. Chapman may not pitch in the majors for a while but regardless I would hesitate on this deal. If it's a keeper then there is no way I would do this.

I wouldn't do it. Ellsbury has 4 fractured ribs and could be out a while. But once Ellsbury returns from the DL, I would revisit it. Bourn is healthy and should do better with Berkman back.
Help with mine?
