i have aurilla at ss currently.
i want to know if i would be better off with jose hernandez or maybe even rafael furcal or orlando cabrera
i am also considering jose reyes, but yahoo does not have him listed yet
thanks in advance
I do like Hernandez, but im also looking for Aurilia to bounce back. He could put up huge numbers, hernandez has been pretty consistent. If your feeling risky then keep Aurilia, otherwise i would probably go w/ hernandez.
gotta go with hernandez-- decent stats last year and he can only get better. aurilia peaked two years ago--he will improve but hernadez has a higher ceiling
The only ceiling Hernandez has is on his K total. He's gonna be a bust in Coors. He can't hit for average, and the only reason he had such high HR #'s was because he hit in Miller Park. He will fade this year.
Jody, Jody Davis. Hits 'em high and far. Jody, Jody Davis. He's a superstar. Holy Cow!!!! http://www.stinkytee.com
im really leaning towards keeping aurilla because i cant afford hernandez's k's(already having soriano, burrell, berkman)
im just curious if hernandez could put up big #'s in coors

In his last 5 years, hes had 3 20+hr and 70+ rbi years. Why will he bust going to Coors? I'm not predicting ridiculous stats like 40 hrs and 100 rbis, but a 25-30 hr year, and 75-85 rbis is certaintly possible given his track record. Aurilia is the better player, but Jose gets the best park to hit in, and Rich gets the worst park. It depends on the leagues scoring features. If the league counts strikeouts, Jose might not be the choice. If the league permits benching a guy, Jose is the guy to use at home only. Miller Park btw in its 2 years has played basically neutral.
