Here's my team:

Batters
Víctor Martínez (Bos - C,1B)
Justin Morneau (Min - 1B)
Chase Utley (Phi - 2B)
Kevin Youkilis (Bos - 1B,3B)
Yunel Escobar (Atl - SS)
Nick Swisher (NYY - 1B,OF)
Curtis Granderson (NYY - OF)
Brett Gardner (NYY - OF)
Álex Ríos (CWS - OF)
Franklin Gutiérrez (Sea - OF)
Nate McLouth (Atl - OF)
Josh Hamilton (Tex - OF)

Pitchers
Andy Pettitte (NYY - SP)
Josh Johnson (Fla - SP)
Dallas Braden (Oak - SP)
Scott Kazmir (LAA - SP)
John Lackey (Bos - SP)
Jeff Niemann (TB - SP)
Clay Buchholz (Bos - SP)
Francisco Liriano (Min - SP,RP)
Trevor Hoffman (Mil - RP)
Brian Wilson (SF - RP)
Daniel Bard (Bos - RP)
Chris Pérez (Cle - RP)
Joba Chamberlain (NYY - SP,RP)
Brian Fuentes (LAA - RP)
J.P. Howell (TB - RP) DL

First of all, I accepted the following trade:
Chase Utley (Phi - 2B)
Josh Hamilton (Tex - OF)
Clay Buchholz (Bos - SP)

for

Mark Teixeira (NYY - 1B)
Ian Kinsler (Tex - 2B) DL
Alfredo Aceves (NYY - RP)

Utley and Tex are more less equal in my opinion and I rather have Kinsler over Hamilton. Since I have too many SP and Aceves had a stellar year last year, I also feel comfortable with the Bucholz vs Aceves trade.

Another item that I've done this this week is a waiver claim: Ike Davis (NYM) dropping Nate McLouth. I know Ike Davis is a rookie, but there is a bunch of NYM fans in my league, so he might be good trade bait if he's performing well.

Here's my dilemma: I have too many pitchers (at least it seems like it), but I feel that all of them are or could be really good and not worth dropping for a mediocre bat like Jeff Keppinger (who is available and versatile).

Here's how I rate my pitchers:
Elite:
Andy Pettitte (NYY - SP)
Josh Johnson (Fla - SP)
John Lackey (Bos - SP)
Jeff Niemann (TB - SP)

Could be Elite, but shaky in 2009:
Scott Kazmir (LAA - SP)

High potential (at least so far):
Dallas Braden (Oak - SP)
Francisco Liriano (Min - SP,RP)

Need for Ks/Hs:
Daniel Bard (Bos - RP)
Joba Chamberlain (NYY - SP,RP)

Need for Saves:
Trevor Hoffman (Mil - RP)
Brian Wilson (SF - RP)
Chris Pérez (Cle - RP)
Brian Fuentes (LAA - RP)

I am close to dumping Trevor Hoffman since he's performing the least this year but he can easily turn around and have another dominant year. Chris Perez also can go either way and Fuentes hopefully retains an elite closer. Brian Wilson is awesome.

So my questions is... What to do? Shall I see if I can trade a SP for a decent versatile batter? What do you guys think about my trade listed above and overall about my team?

Thanks so much!

Your team isn't in bad shape. However, I'm not sure Aceves repeats last year... I'm not sure if Pettite keeps this up either. He's definitely going to pitch to the tune of a 4.25 ERA at least. In other words, expect some clunkers.

Your OF is stacked and Brett Gardner seems like the easier drop. He probably won't experience too much of a drop in production but you may want to check the WW for some bench options.

Anyway, I'd maybe try to sell Pettite high and package him with some of your relievers (I don't like Hoffman and Perez is volatile). That could maybe net you a nice little package but I'm not too sure if it'll be worth it. Afterall, you can never have enough pitching.

Please help me too!

The only reason I have Gardner is for his SB which counts in my league...

Thanks about your other info. You're right about Pettite (I am considering benching him this weekend against LAA), and Hoffman is the easiest trade bait.
