Early season blockbuster! WHIR

Postby Jenken » Thu Apr 22, 2010 3:20 pm

Okay, first off here is my team...

C-WIeters
1B-Morales, Loney
2B-Zobrist (SS,OF), Beckham (3B)
3B-Zimmerman
SS-Andrus, Hardy
OF-Braun, Willingham, R.Davis, Granderson, McCutchen

SP- J.Johnson, E.Jackson, Cain, Scherzer, Garza, Niemann, E.Santana
RP- Masterson (SP), Jenks,
DL-Street

I have been offered this deal: Dunn, Markakis, C.Perez (RP) and Gregg for MY Granderson, Morales and Masterson.

DO I do this? Personally, I think the dealbreaker here is Markakis, but is he worth the risk?

Give me a link and Ill post some opinions on your thread as well

NOTE: ROto league, HR, RBI, SB, R, AVG, PITCHING: W, SV, WHIP, K, ERA

Thanks!

I'm thinking stay put with Granderson, Morales and Masterson. It seems the other manager is just throwing players in to make it look goof then it actually is. I stay put on this one bud, thanks for the help with mine.

Tough call. I think Markakis will bounce back but I think Granderson could have a huge season. It's hard to know what Dunn will do -- probably 30 HRs, 90 RBIs or so. I think I'd probably sit tight with what you've got, but keep it in mind for the future.

Thanks for the help with mine.

assuming that is Kendry and not Franklin, keep what you have ...but its not close, maybe counter asking for slightly more on the Pitcher side if you like Markakis (I like him more than Granderson)

Yes, it is Kendry.

I left that offer on the table, and made a new offer of Hamels, Dunn and Markakis for Granderson, Morales and Masterson

I would stay put. How do I get the link "view my topic" to put in my post so others can click on it to answer my question?

I'd keep what you have. I'd rather have the Granderson/Morales side over the Dunn/Markakis side. Not to mention Perez will lose his gig once Wood comes back since he has not been great thus far and Gregg is Gregg. He'll be up and down all season and I wouldn't doubt that he gets replaced at some point by Frasor and they go back and forth in that role. Stay put.
