Time to Claim Street? (WHIR)

Postby BUCCOFAN » Wed Apr 21, 2010 10:22 pm

12 Team Fantasy Points League

Someone waived Street two weeks ago in my league, (we don't have a DL slot) I see that he is making great progress in rehab, is time to pluck him off the wire? and who would you waive? I personally think I got to many OF. Thoughts? or maybe Kouzmanoff? Or do I dump Champman, I still think he makes it to Cincy this season.

Definitely drop Kouzmanoff.... he's doing you no good especially on your bench. Chapman has too much potential to drop, your patience will be rewarded soon enough.

What do you think of this deal? Thanks bud

I disagree. Try to move an OF from your bench. Kouz does a lot on your bench, he is the backup in case of injury to both 3b and 2b.

soriano and kouz are both guys you wont miss at all.
soriano went downhill fast last year and i dont see him improving much at al this season. and with his lousy defense i wouldnt at be surprised to see him lose playing time if he doest strart hitting.
and kouz plays in oakland.. where hitters go to die.
i wouldnt drop chapman, if nothing less you should be able to trade him when he gets called up

btw, thanks for the help in my thread

Reports are saying a mid-May return for Street is most likely at this point, which is still a while away. Kouz is kind of useless even as depth as he isn't off to a great start anyways. I'd drop Kouz for Street unless you have any better free agency options since you have Marmol and could look into some other position instead.

Yup, Street is a solid add right now. My picks to drop would be Helton or Kouz
