Zimmerman Injured..AGAIN!

Hit a double, then an injury delay occurred on gameday and he was taken out of the game.

He pulled up slow into second base. There was hardly anything noticeable it didn't look like he slipped or anything. Hopefully it's just cramps, but he was grimacing bit. They pulled him for safety and because he was the go-ahead run on second base.

Regardless, I'm concerned, and will be pretty pizzed if I lose my stud 3B for more games!

Damn this stinks, I just got him off waivers. Now I have to go back to Tejada and pray he will play Friday, because I really don't want to go with Wiggington or Gordon.

Haha I know, I couldn't believe it. It's a Yahoo pub league, but still...I was LAST on waiver rank and still got him. Anyway he's injured now and I had to drop Loney to get a replacement (Tejada) for Zim.

last time it was his left hammy, this time the right...so good/bad with it since its not him re-injuring same leg.

Zimmerman hurt his right leg, not the same hamstring strain that forced him out of the starting lineup for five straight games last week. He tried to stretch a double into a triple with two outs in the seventh inning, but he slowed as he sprinted between first and second, stopping at second.

"It didn't feel anywhere close to as bad as the other one," Zimmerman said. "It felt more like a cramp."

Zimmerman did not rule out returning Thursday, but his status will depend on how he feels once he arrives at the park for the 4:35 p.m. game. Leaving Wednesday night stung "because we're playing really good baseball," he said.

I just traded for him last week... I hope he's able to last the whole season...

wash post say hes prob out sunday as well so not good but they said he could pinch hit. i thought this was weird but the coaches told him if he got a chance to pinch hit that he should not run hard to base. idont know maybe they should shut him down.
