Yes I know I am selling low and that general is not a good idea. But I have another deal on the table that I am going to take that is:
MY:CC for HIS: Nolasco/Danks/Dunn
So when you look at it... Dunn will replace Lee and I gain Nolasco/Danks/Hamels for CC and Peavy.
It make my pitching staff deeper and while Dunn is slumping he is hitting in a much better lineup than Carlos Lee.
So my question is should I pull the trigger on LEE/Peavy for Hamels? Advice please....100%WHIR
Here is my roster 10 Team Head2Head 5X5 REDRAFT C:Napoli 1b:Howard 2b:Cano 3b:Zimmerman SS:Tulo OF:Bay, C. Lee, Adam Jomes Util:Hunter BN: McLouth, Prado, A. LaRoche, Rajai Davis SP: Sabathia, Jimenez RP: Soria, Soriano SP/RP: Peavy, Shields, Qualls BN:Floyd,Cueto, J. Sanchez
I actually turned down an opportunity in the pre-season to trade Lee for Hamels straight up, which I wish I had done now But giving up Peavy also is too much.
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.
Too much to give up. Now I don't love Lee, but you are selling way to low on Him. Like another poster said before the season you might have been able to get Hamels for Lee straight up.
If you want to move Lee, I would wait a few games and see if Berkman helps out and Lee can put together a few good games and bring Lee's value back up.
