McGehee or Ian Stewart? Plus Bonus Pitching Question *WHIR*

Postby rukus9 » Wed Apr 21, 2010 12:16 am

McGehee is still available and I'm thinking about dropping Stewart to get him... Am I crazy?

EDIT:

And I still can't decide what to do with my pitching. Today I traded Soria for J Santana. So now my pitchers are:

Garza, Matt
Haren, Dan
Kershaw, Clayton
Baker, Scott
Greinke, Zack
Santana, Johan
Lee, Cliff

Only Wins and Saves count. Lee is still on the DL for the moment but when he comes off I will have to drop one of them. I was thinking Baker but the way the Twins are playing now I am not so sure. Also here is who is still available on waivers:

Wolf, Randy
Garcia, Jaime
Kuroda, Hiroki
Pettitte, Andy
Braden, Dallas
Pineiro, Joel
Hudson, Tim
Buehrle, Mark
Happ, J.A.
Hughes, Phil
Danks, John
Buchholz, Clay
Scherzer, Max
Arroyo, Bronson
Rodriguez, Wandy
Penny, Brad
Price, David
Sanchez, Jonathan O.
Wilson, C.J.
Liriano, Francisco
De La Rosa, Jorge
Jackson, Edwin
Shields, James

Should I drop anyone for any of these guys? Remember only looking for Wins. I already am going to have to drop one to make room for Lee.

the only guys i would consider from that list would be hudson and danks, but if only wins count, I would say hudson. The choice to drop would be baker, but I'm not so sure their wins are going to differ much.

1. Gotta keep Stewart, imho he has a better offense around him

2. Gotta drop Baker, no standout players on the ww list, just put them all on your watch list

I'd stick with Stewart, and I'd leave the pitching as is. ;-D

Retain Stewart ... and hold tight, dropping Baker to free up Lee if need be.

Thanks for helping me. I would stay pat on everything although I would keep an eye on Liriano for another start or two. He looks to have his old form back.
