Nelson Cruz left Tuesday's game against the Red Sox with an apparent hamstring injury.
Cruz appeared to grab at his right leg during an at-bat in the top of the ninth inning. He was replaced in the lineup by David Murphy.

Did anyone watch the game?

OF Nelson Cruz left the game after striking out in the top of the ninth with what was described as a right hamstring cramp. Cruz will be re-evaluated Wednesday.

"Cramp" sounds a hell of a lot better than "injury".

I sincerely hope this is just because of the extra running on the basepaths the Rangers were doing yesterday.
He's literally the only bright spot on my team right now.

I reached for Cruz this year in my draft thinking he was going to be great. Glad I listened to that gut instinct. I sure hope this is just cramps and nothing more. It would royally suck to lost him right now for any amount of time and mess up the good mojo he's got going on.

From Rotoworld:

"Nelson Cruz (hamstring) is in Wednesday's lineup against the Red Sox.

Cruz left Tuesday's game with some cramping in his right hamstring, but as promised, he's right back in there on Wednesday."

Sounds like he is OK. ;-D

Unfortunately, he had problems again on Wednesday. He may sit out Thursday.

From CBS:

Texas OF Nelson R. Cruz went 0 for 4 in an extra-inning loss to Boston on Wednesday as he was back in the lineup Wednesday after leaving Tuesday's game with a hamstring problem. Cruz walked in the game and was removed late with fatigue in his right hamstring, the same one that gave him issues the previous game. He's batting .306 on the year. Cruz is definitely still being bothered by the hamstring issue so be careful in the coming days and watch out for an extended absence to make sure he's healthy.

They absolutely should sit him for a few days to make sure he's okay.

Surprisingly Cruz is still in the lineup today. Although it is at DH. Good to see they are trying to protect him a little I guess. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best, as I'm sure the Rangers are too.

Cruz in the lineup as DH says the hamstring situation isn't bad. I wouldn't even term it an injury at this point, but yeah, it bears keeping an eye on and it's good to see the Rangers are being somewhat conservative.

Looks like Cruz was removed from Monday's game with Murphy going in to play RF. Anyone hear anything yet? I hope it's just the hamstring issue acting up and nothing more serious. It would really suck losing Cruz to a DL stint while he's hitting so well.
