Carlos Santana exited Monday's game against the Red Sox with an apparent serious injury to his left knee and/or leg.
Not good. Santana was plowed into by Ryan Kalish at home plate in the bottom of the seventh inning and it looks like his left knee took the worst of it. The promising young catcher had to be carted off the field. It's tough to speculate on the severity, but we would be surprised to see him again this season. Aug. 2 - 9:28 pm et

Done for the year is a given...I just hope he's ready to go by spring training. My question to the cafe is what do you do in a keeper league if your competing this year? I hate throw him away, but it's such a waste to have him on my bench. I currently have Victorino on my dl and bailey on my bench. This injury is a nightmare!
