Two points:

1. I already made the trade and was asking for feedback on the trade, not whether I should do it.

2. Ever heard of buying low?

You did great. Pence is the best player in the deal and ranked ahead of those two pitchers. I would be very happy if I were you.

Pence tore it up in spring training.

I had pence on my first place team last year and I was very happy.

I'd say the odds of you looking back and regretting that deal are low. So you did fine - Kazmir and Hudson are both 3-4 SP depending on some variables, and you had the depth. Who did you pick up with the extra spot?

i think its a good deal. Pence may be on an awful team, but he does have alot of potential, and giving up Hudson and Kazmir is like giving up a bag of peanuts for him. You lose nothing real important and you have a fair chance at making a profit

I picked up Brad Penny with the extra roster spot. So the trade was really:

I get Hunter Pence & Brad Penny

I give Scott Kazmir & Tim Hudson
