drop which closer for a MR?

Postby featsofstrength » Tue Apr 20, 2010 5:19 pm

My team is currently stocked with closers (Soria, Valverde, F Rodriguez and Cordero). I currently lack a source of holds (a catagory in my league) and want to stop punting this catagory. Most weeks, i'm thinking that 3 closers should allow me to win the save catagory. So, I need to work out a 2 for 1 trade (having difficulty doing this) or drop a closer for a middle reliever.

FYI, there are many good MR's avail: Chamberlain, Gregerson, Bard, Betancourt, Okajima, etc

Have you identified any teams with excess ML and a need for closers?

Don't drop a valuable closer. Try and shop one of your guys for a positional upgrade elsewhere by pairing one of your closers and a bat of the same position. With the extra roster space, add a middle reliever of your choosing.
