I would say take trade 1, but your pitching is pretty horrendous. I just might be tempted to take the second trade. But it would definitely suck to give up the best player in baseball.

my pitching is awful but id rather get 2 really good pitchers for 1 good player...only thing is i dont think i can get felix and greinke...hes leaning for greinke and papelbon...which i dont need or want,..although the longoria/cabrera is very tempting as well

Hmm. I absolutely don't want Greinke and Papelbon.

If you are looking for straight pitching do the second trade. If that manager still insists on Greinke Papelbon, then move on.

I honestly would take the first deal as well. Its absolutely the best deal value wise. I have to believe that you could flip either Longoria/Wright or M-Cab for one stud pitcher like Halladay or King Felix straight up.

Unless your league is one of those where no one wants to trade, I would take the first deal and then try to make another trade.

I'm not sure Im a fan of trade #1 - you already have Wright at 3rd and you have Votto on the bench, so basically you are going to do this trade and then try to do more trades with the piece you get for Pujols. I think you need to get at least one stud pitcher back in this deal or it really isn't that worth it....maybe try for a Greinke + Longoria type trade rather than all hitting or all pitching (guys usually cant afford to give up a felix and a greinke, even for pujols).

I do agree that you get the most raw value from trade one so if your league is a very high on making trades it could be worth while for you to try the double flip, but that can be difficult, dont want to get stuck with two stud 1B and two stud 3B and then have to bank on JA Happ winning weeks for you

3B-Longoria

RP-Papelbon - Rivera

Pujols/Happ for Greinke/Felix is very ugly for the Pujols side.

I would trade Greinke / Felix for Pujols 7 days a week, but wouldn't give up Pujols for those two pitchers - and if I were to trade Pujols for 2 pitchers, it would be Lincecum and Halladay.

Move on from this guy. If he thinks Greinke/Pap is a legit offer than he is a clown and you need to start exploring other options.

Is the Mig/Longoria option still available.
