Trading away Prince Fielder

I know, horrible time to sell (as his value is low). But I'm just curious, what would you look for in return for Prince. I have a few teams interested.

10 team, Keeper league, Keep 8. Lose the rd you drafted your keepers in.

H2H, w/ the standard 5x5 + OPS, Hits and K/9, QS.

I took Prince last year in the 2nd rd, and kept him w/ that price tag. He'll cost a 2nd rd pick to keep next year. I think my team will be fine w/ the lost of HR and RBI, but I want some opinions.

I want an ace pitcher. here are the 4 SP the other team has to offer: Lester (9th rd), Wainwright (11th rd), Felix (7th rd) and Jiménez (23rd rd). What else should I ask for?
I figure: Prince for one of those 4 SP + ?

My team:
C: Soto
1B: Pujols
2B: Lopez
3B: A.Rod
SS: Tulo
OF: Heyward
OF: N. Cruz
OF: J. Upton
UTIL: Prince (1st)
BN: C. Quentin (OF), Montero (C - DL)

SP: Hamels
SP: Kershaw
RP: Wagner
RP: Qualls
P: Hanson
P: Capps
P: Carmona
BN: Marcum, Peavy, Galladro, Price, Kazmir
DL: Webb

My pitching is under achieving to say the least.

His Team:
C: Wieters
1B: Bulter
2B: Prado
3B: Wright
ss: Jeter
OF: Wells
OF: Choo
OF: Gonzalez
UTIL: Pena (1B)
BN: G. Jones, R. Davis
DL: Kinsler

SP: Wainwright, Lester, Niemann, Jiménez, Hudson, Felix, Feldman
RP: Bell, Hoffman, Gregg, Rodney

Ordinarily I would preach patience, but you are right, you are loaded with power hitting. I don't know if you're really lacking in SP-depth as well, but an additional ace would really elevate that staff to domination level and free up an everyday spot for Carlos Quentin, so I do like a trade for you. I actually think if you can flip a Fielder (2) for an Ubaldo (23) trade straight-up, that would be a fantastic trade. The value you get there is so ridiculous for future years. Of course try and see if he'll throw in a little extra, perhaps a Capps-Bell switch as well.

Thanks for the reply. It's hard to express the value of certain players in a keeper league, so it's good to hear helpful tips from somebody that acknowledges the keeper aspect.

A Prince for Ubaldo would be considered a "crazy" trade in most any leagues, but if you understand the keeper aspect, you're right in that it would be a good trade.

For instance, I kept both Pujols (1) and Prince (2) from last season. Had I let Prince go (say I traded him for Ubaldo at the end of last season), I would have been able to keep my 2nd rd pick, which would have ended up being the #3 overall pick. And who went #3 this year you may ask? CC Sabathia. Thus the trade really would have looked like this:

Ulbado + CC for Prince (one way to look at it)
