i know what a player has done in his past means little to his current value, but i still can't bring myself to drop guys who have been stud, 5-category type players in the past.
this year, it's McLouth. i need to drop a player, and all signs point to him, but i know he was incredibly valuable to my team while he was in Pittsburgh, and i just know that right when i drop him, his game will somehow improve. typical case of over-valuing a long-owned player.
would you rather drop:
a slumping McLouth (that might be giving him too much credit)
or G. Jones, who looked good early but may have returned to his normal form now
i really don't want to count on either one the rest of the season, but i feel McLouth has a higher ceiling, seeing as he's at least performed at a high level in the past.
any advice?
