Because he's 0-11 w/ 7 Ks against them and hasn't shown any signs of changing his approach thus far.
Even when he's white-hot against RHP, he can't do anything against lefties.
He's young, he had some health/stamina issues last season. He isn't a guy that should be playing 10 games in a row until he's able to show he can keep weight on throughout the season. As such, when the dude's hitting RHP better than anyone in the game (I think he has an OPS of over 1.600 against RHP this year), you sit him against lefties for his breaks and make sure he's facing the righties.
And the pitch he hit last night was inside and about belt high. Seriously fellas, you probably want to stop trying to bust this kid in - he's going to hit it very very far. Work up and away, come inside and low for show only (i.e. in the dirt or in his ribs). Do not get anywhere near the strike zone on the inner half of the plate.
