Davis/Smoak

So when do you think Texas will give Smoak a call up?

Davis is doing nothing right now where as Smoak is batting .300 with 2 HR and 3/10 K/BB in 9 games.

I know it is still early and all but if Smoak keeps this up and Davis continues to not hit Texas will have to do something right?

I think the next step is more steady platooning with Garko on days the Rangers face a LHP. Late May or early June before we see Smoak. The Rangers lineup is already quite effective (outside Davis + Julio) and they stand to get better when Kinsler returns. If they're managing to score runs I don't believe they'll bring Smoak up early enough to void a year of service.
