I would definitely take advantage of this trade. Clay has posted a 3.60 ERA, however his FIP and xFip around 6.00. With that being said, I'd ship him out of town quick, and if its for Carlos Pena and Span both, thats good deal on your end and not so much on the other guy. My reference to the FIP and xFIP basically means in this case that Clay will most likely be struggling in the future and if its a h2h league, you need that ERA to stay low weekly. Also considering the fact that you have a bunch if SP slots, losing out on one pitcher that isn't going to do that well would not be a bad thing, especially for a deal like this.
