Should I keep Jose Reyes or Kazuo Matsui??

Well which one should I keep? I am going to be picking up Texeria. I currently have Soriano, Tejeda, Chavez, and Ortiz as my starting infielders. i also have aramis ramerez as a backup. need input though. thanks

Touch choice, but I'd go with Kaz since he's not hurt.

I'd go with Reyes. Odds are, he'll be healthy well before you would need to plug him in your lineup. Plus, with duel elgibility at 2B and SS, he can serve as a backup to Tejada and Soriano, rather than just Tejada.

Is everyone real high on Ponson? I'd dump him.

I'd try to trade Kaz for a RP like Dotel, Rhodes, Percival, Izzy. Reyes will be more valuable to you as a back-up for his 2B/SS eligibility anyway. You also have good depth at OF so you could stand to upgrade 1B by trading an OF as well. Tex/Ortiz as a platoon will work, but a regular 1B is less hassle.

duel eligibility is overrated. kaz matsui is going to outperform reyes by quite a bit.

don't be surprised if tejada is backing up kaz on your squad by midseason.

What about dumping Ramirez? If you have Teixeira and Chavez, do you really need another 3B eligible player?

No way Kaz out performs Reyes this year IMO. I think Kaz is going to have a very good year but he'll be adjusting to this league. On the other hand this is the year Reyes comes into his own.
