Berkman for Matsuzaka trade?

Postby tailgate13 » Fri Apr 16, 2010 1:04 pm

I am in a keeper league with the following parameters and looking for some advice on how to proceed with a trade offer?

Lance Berkman 1b for Daisuke Matsuzaka SP (both currently on the disabled list)

His wish is to get starting pitching back in the trade, so I could counter with someone else. I am tempted to dump kazmir

but would hate to see him settle down and start building up the "K's" again.

I'd go for it. Berkmanshould be able to produce once he comes back from the DL, while Dice-K seems pretty washed up to me. This could be a steal.

Can you help me ou too bud?

EASILY trade either Dice-K or Kazmir for Berkman. Hell, trade them both. Berkman may be near the end of the line, but Dice-K and Kazmir are borderline droppable.

If the other owner would actually go for that, run with it and never look back.
