Borbon is on waivers and I'm leaning towards dropping Strasburg, or Blanks for him. I have 3rd ww priority, so I may be able to get Strasburg back if I need to. I'm sort of worried about dropping Blanks but that's just becasue I'm a Padre fan and If he hits I need the Hr's on my team. I could also pick up Juan Gutierrez (rp az) because I have some scrub closers. Should I make any of these moves? Or hold tight? Or drop someone else? Thanks for the help and WHIR!

My drop here would actually be Ian Desmond. I think you're better served keeping Blanks' power potential than the unproven, marginal power/speed combo of Desmond.

Desmond for Gutierrez on a speculative pickup. If Qualls rights the ship, you can dump Juan for someone then. Don't drop Blanks. Do you have a 3B?

So what do you think is more valuable? Borbon as a 6th outfielder, or Gutierrez as a closer? It's hard having 6 outfielders on my team. I usually like to have a backup MI and a backup CI. Maybe I should package one of my outfielders and a pitchers, for a 3rd starter, or a semi decent closer.

Anyway, you can feel safe dumping Desmond. Pick up Gutierrez for now. When Lidge comes back, you can drop Madson for Borbon. Or if you feel more comfortable, pick up Borbon now and drop Strasburg. When Lidge comes back, grab Strasburg again...

I feel like if he did that, some owner would grab Strasburg just to stash him. Might not be worth the risk.

I think you should definitely drop desmond for one or the other - probably gutierrez as he might get snapped up if qualls has another bad outing. Personally, I'd be OK dropping strassburg for borbon as well. Non keeper league where strassburg gets called up mid year, with a strict pitching limit, playing for the nats, and bound to have a few rookie blowups even though he's the real deal. Just need to make sure this isn't keeper
