Trade Lind for Crawford? Both are keepers thru 2011...

Value-wise, I'd rather have Crawford than Lind, but I do think Lind fits your team better. If you can swing Crawford for another power hitter (let's say Holliday), then this deal works out even better for you. As-is, I'd probably do it.
you have lots of power and I'm not sure the loss of Lind is going to hurt you much there. Crawford is gonna help you in SB and triples... I'd make the deal

My thoughts exactly. While I like both these guys, Crawford definitely fits your needs more.
I would make this deal. This deal will definitely help you in the present. And probably the future as well. Your team lacks a straight speedster (besides Davis) and Carl will give that to you. In any given week, the combination of Davis and Crawford can give you the SB cat. Also Lind is a great hitter, but I think the Rays have a better supporting cast and who knows when the Jays will be in sell-mode. I remember the Jays attempting to dump Wells prior to the trade deadline. Don't be fooled by the Jays excellent start. The Yanks/Sox will be 1 and 2 at the end. Don't worry about Carl's speed, he will still have it in 2011. Make this deal and don't look back. If Carl is gonna get moved, he will move to a big market team. I'm thinking big like Yankees, Red Sox, or Mets. He might even sign back with the Rays or even another small market, but his speed won't slump anywhere. Take it.
