I like trade #1 best. #2 leaves your pitching too weak, #3 is alright (even with your updated trade proposal)...but #1 yields you two great hitters and I'm not too high on BJ.

Do you think the dropoff from from miggy and coghlan to morneau and upton is big enough to make this trade worthwhile?

Absolutely, but I'm a bit high on Coghlan. With that said I'd definitely do the trade, MCab is a top 10 hitter imo.
