Is it worth trying to buy Big Teix?........WHIR

Should I try to go after Mark Teixiera? I'm thinking about offering Votto, but for some reason I'm afraid I'll be giving up close to the same value. I'd really like to trade him Berkman, but I don't think that will fly. Thoughts?

Depends on what your gonna give with berkman or votto cause straight up wont even be close

i think Votto could be close to good value, especially with Teix struggling so much. No one else thinks so. Obviously I think Tex has the bigger year, otherwise I wouldn't be trying to get him

I guarantee you will never get tex for joey votto straight up. Unless the guy with tex is a pure idiot and has no knowledge of baseball.

You yourself just said tex will put up bigger numbers then votto. What makes you think that the guy with tex will give him up just for a joey votto??? thats dumb. Your gonna have to add more peices in order to get tex. votto is not near the same value as tex, like you say.

right now tex is dead cold. Nothing new, he has a past history to be cold. However, the season doesnt end in the next few weeks. It has a long ways to go and theres gonna be an abundance of ABs for tex to show his true form.Once the season really gets rolling, he puts up huge numbers that can't be matched by joey votto.

I'm not saying votto is a bad player, but you definitely gonna have to trade more then just him for Big Tex.

If you can get Teix for Votto, I would try.. but most people aren't willing to give up on their 1st rounder this early. Especially one with well-known, well-publicized early season struggles.
