How'd I do with this deal?

Postby sigriffey » Thu Apr 15, 2010 8:21 pm

I've done a series of deals - most recently my billingsley and alcides escobar for his Ubaldo Jimenez and peralta. I plan on dumping Peralta when Lilly comes off the DL. Other than my closet situation, how do things look? Do I deal someone like Davis for a Brian Wilson or David Aardsma?

I liked the deal for you before, I like it again now. I agree that your closer situation is not sitting pretty right now, with Soria being the only reliable guy for saves in the long-run. I wouldn't mind trading Rajai Davis for a reliable bullpen arm, but do make sure he's reliable (no Mike Gonzo/Jim Johnson, Perez/Wood, Lidge/Madson).

I think chris Perez is reliable. maybe there is concern that he wont have the job all year? I think he will do well enough to have the closers job.
Please help me with analyzing my team? viewtopic.php?f=29&t=433592

Really? I have Chriz Perez in one of my leagues, and he's looked pretty shaky. I hope he can fend off Wood and claim the role for the entire season, but I don't know if he does. Wood does have a big contract, and that makes it a PR nightmare for him to pitch any inning but the 9th.
