Does the 2010 version of Alex Gonzalez = the 2009 version of Marco Scutaro?
No one thought Scutaro would keep it up all season last year, but he posted a very good year. Alex Gonzalez is off to a great start. Any chance he can post Scutaro like numbers for the season? If so, I will seriously consider dropping Alexi Ramirez for him.

I came here to post the same exact thing after Gonzalez' third hit of the night!
Who is the Blue Jays' hitting coach and is he working some magic in Toronto?? Also look at Adam Lind and Aaron Hill.
In case you are wondering, I see Gonzalez as having good offensive stats but will have a hard time hitting .250.
When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.

Was at the game tonight...He hit a couple hard line drives and pulled a foul ball about 400 feet into the upper deck. I was impressed by his power and solid contact...keep in mind he was facing Freddy Garcia and a couple weak RP. He doesn't have anywhere near the plate discipline Scutaro has so I can see some bad slumps in his future considering his track record. Sell high if someone will give you something for him.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Scutaro became a better hitter because he started taking way more pitches than ever before. That's not what's happening here...Gonzalez is just hacking away like he always has. Just a hot streak, and he'll get moved down in the order when Hill returns.
