Very deep H2H League
I GIVE my:
Prince Fielder
David Wright
Will Venerable
Livan Hernandez
I GET his:
Miguel Cabrera
Kevin Youkillis
Torii Hunter
Ervin Santana
I have been getting flooded with offers for Prince Fielder ... mostly people trying to buy him low. This one intrigues me. I don't want to give up David Wright ... but Youk is having a decent year and I think Miggy makes up for the absence.
Venerable is doing better points wise (as a FA pickup of mine a few days ago), but I think that Torii is going to be better in the long run.
I am thinking of countering this deal where the pitchers are just cut out. I don't want anything to do with Ervin Santana.
What do you think? WHIR with full analysis.
Offense scoring style as follows
1 Point: Hit/Single/Walk/Run/RBI, Plus 1 point for each total bag
2 Points: HR/SB (4 additional points for GSHR)
3 Points: Game winning RBI
10 Points: Hit for cycle
batting average doesn't factor as its own category
I didn't post pitching scoring ... because it's even more complicated and irrelevant ... but it's fairly standard-ish H2H

This is tough because im a huge kevin youkilis fan but David right is better then him. Prince is a beast and probably will do better the Miguel. He bats in a potent line up and behind Ryan Braun. I don't think Torii is worth giving up those two guys.

I would keep Prince and Wright who will be tough this year. I like Wright better than Youk and Prince better than Miggy. Stay put.

+1... Miggy is stud, but so is Prince and like said I think Prince tops Miggy this year. Wright will top Youk. Yes upgrading Veneable and Hernandez to Torii and Santana would be nice, but not at the cost of taking downgrades at the other 2 slots.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

I'd stay where you are. I'm not a Youkilis fan, and Fielder is a beast. I'd say no.

Thanks for the help with mine, much obliged!
I'm pretty confident that this is not the right deal for you. You're getting decent quality in quantity but you're giving up the best players to get it. The other team will make out long term if you pull the trigger, and you'd rather not see that happen. As tempting as upgrades to OF/SP are, i'd resist. Its a deep league but Venable should provide decent value to where you drafted/bought him, so keep an eye on the waiver wire for the next SP callup to replace Hernandez and you should be more than fine

I would stay put on this one. I think Prince and Miggy should be about even. I see Prince with more HRs and Miggy a better average. But I think you lose if you have to give up Wright. I think he's in for a bounceback year.
