In a 12-team league with the following scoring categories:

W, K, ERA, WHIP, Saves, Holds

Who would be the better RP for the immediate future as well as the rest of the season?

I'd go with Rodney. All the stuff I've read say they wouldn't be surprised if he holds onto the closer job after Fuentes returns. They all say Fuentes ins't closer material and now they have another option.

not only that, but rodney will likely get more hold opportunities even if he doesnt remain the closer.
Please help me with analyzing my team? viewtopic.php?f=29&t=433592

Go with Rodney for now and see if you can scoop up Gregg after Fuentes comes back ;)

This is kind of playing with fire with the closer options you have. But Rodney should get more save opportunities.

I did read that statistically, April is Gregg's best month so he'll have at least that much leash to work with to secure the closer job, so take it for what it's worth.

IMO, Rodney is the better gamble for the short-term and for the rest of the season.
